Youth Initiatives Foundation

The Youth Initiatives Foundation (YIF) is a non-governmental, self-governed, non-for-profit organization. The Fund is the legal successor of All-Armenian Youth Foundation (AYF) and has been operating since 1998  on the principles of democracy, legality and equal rights.

• Preparation and Qualification of young specialists abroad and personal grants.
• Qualification of Diaspora youth at Universities, Institutes and firms in the Armenian Republic.
• Contribution to youth scientific researches.
• Financial aid to youth economical organizations and initiatives.
• Recreation of the student charity pharmacy.
• Foundation of student charity cafeterias.
• Partial repair of student dormitories.
• Organization of students’ summer vacations in Armenia and abroad .
• Organization of youth pastimes.
• Organization of youth (student) scientific conferences and festivals.
• Foundation of youth computer training center.
• Foundation of youth law economic service
• Organization of youth cultural and sport activities.
• Investment in the Armenian Youth card system.
• Organization of international student volunteer groups.
• Organization of sport-cultural activities led to the military-patriotic nurture in detachments.
• Contribution to the young teachers in borderlands.

The main purpose of the All Armenian Youth Foundation is promote and engage in activities that will lead to the resolution of Armenian youth’s problems wherever in the world they may be. How do we intend to achieve this?

• Alleviate the problems of youth’s/students’ socio-economic situation by contributing to projects that inspire youth entrepreneurship.
• Play a leading role in the foundation of a legislative field advocating profits and promoting the rights of the youth/students and ensuring that youth organizations in general are included in this process.
• Contribute to the fulfillment of projects that promote youth/student socio-economic protection, health, mass media, sport, qualification and ecology.
• Organize the presentation and dissemination of Armenian culture, scientific-educational and historical inheritance abroad, to contribute to gifted young persons.
• Inquire and publish information regarding the Armenian and foreign youth problems.

The property sources of the Foundation can be:
private investments (money / pecuniary), credits taken from banking institutions, grants, charitable investments, grants from private persons, state, non-governing and social organizations, other investments and sources not restricted by Armenian legislation.
